Personalize your practice with intimate one-on-one guidance. Through private yoga instruction, you will receive hour-long sessions that focus directly on your goals. Whether you are seeking better alignment, increased strength, modifications for an injury, preparing for a peak asana you desire, or looking to incorporate a more spiritual component and yogic philosophy into your practice, private training allows you to define your goal, set your drishti, and I will foster your growth with knowledge, support, and passion.
PRIVATE STRENGTH TRAINING AND FUNCTIONAL TRAINING
Learn to lift with love, build muscle, improve joint functioning and increase mobility. Strength training can be achieved through bodyweight exercises, primal movement, and traditional weight lifting. Resistance training in all of these forms improves bone density, body composition, and increases your metabolism.
PRIVATE DANCE INSTRUCTION
If you can dream it, you can dance it! I work with wedding parties, preschoolers, elementary students preparing for talent shows, high school students preparing for Professional Dance or Collegiate level dance classes, aging dancers seeking mobility and creativity, and so much more. Reach out - nothing is too bizarre…it’s artistry and soul expressed through the flesh.
PRE AND POST NATAL STRENGTH TRAINING
Develop a balance of strength and flexibility to prepare you for birth, and reconnecting with your core after labor. New mothers need special awareness to ensure proper musculoskeletal recovery as they step back into a fitness routine (even those who have been active their whole lives). Through mindful movement, we will combine of cardiovascular training, strength training, and flexibility to improve your chance of an easeful birth, staying energetic through pregnancy, and creating physical, mental, and emotional strength for your post-partum journey.
Often, injury does not mean you must stop moving, but you must reorient, heal, and move in different ways. Please first inquire with your physical if strength training, functional movement, therapeutic movement, or flexibility training would be beneficial in your injury recovery.
PRIVATE FUNCTIONAL TRAINING FOR AGING BODIES
Greater strength and improved flexibility can be achieved at ANY age! And is extremely important as aging bodies may be battling arthritic joints, decreased bone density, muscular tightness and decreased energy and metabolic functioning. Through resistance training, cardio aerobic exercise, and flexibility training, you may be able to access more range of motion, coordination, stability and balance in your golden years than you could straight out the gate! I want you to always feel empowered, and feel as if you can always come “home” into your body.
